Cate Beaton, Assistant Coach, 13-14 age group
Cate has been swimming since the age of six beginning on her local recreation team in Windsor, Connecticut. She has also competed at the USS, high school (captain her junior and senior years), and College levels. She loves swimming and considers herself a distance swimmer; the 200 and 500 meter free were her favorites in high school. She began coaching in 1995 at the recreational level and has since gained experience at the USS and High school levels. She continues to love the teaching aspects of swimming and teaches swim lessons to all ages. catherine.beaton@bvsd.org

Corinne Snooks, Assistant Coach, 11-12 age group
Corinne has been swimming since she was five years old. She started on the High Mar swim team and after four years with them, swam with the Meadows Club until she was 18 years old. She graduated with a degree in Spanish from Lewis and Clark College in Portland Oregon in May 2007. Since graduating she has been working atManhattan Middle School in Boulder as a Secretary and a tutor for the ESL program. She is starting to take classes again this summer to get her Spanish teaching license. She loves working with children and trying to get outdoors as much as possible. corinne.snooks@gmail.com

Starin Mckeen, Assistant Coach, 9-10 age group
Starin swam in the BVSSL for 4 years with the Gators and Barracudas after switching from year-round to synchronized swimming. She competed in synchronized swimming for 10 years at the club and national level and later as a D1 athlete for Canisius College. She also swam for Fairview Girls Swim Team, competing in the 200 IM, 100 Fly, and 500 Free. Starin has taught swim lessons for both SwimAmerica and Infant Aquatic Resource, and currently works at High Point. She is now studying MCDBiology at CU and is a member of the CU Triathlon Team. starin.mckeen@gmail.com
